The Chiefs have won 5 straight games and now head to Oakland to keep the ball rolling. The Raiders have been playing better recently but Kansas City is trying to stay in the playoff hunt and will put up a lot of points tonight.
Kansas City’s defense has been on fire the last month and Oakland has the NFL’s worst offense. It’s pretty easy. Chiefs win by 10+
Taking Kansas City -7
Risking 50 to win 43
Detroit is hot right now. Arizona is pretty hot too but Carson Palmer is out and Drew Stanton is in. Stanton has played well when he has been called on but this Lions team has Calvin Johnson back and I believe Detroit will score early and often on Arizona’s banged up defense.
Taking Detroit pick
Risking 60 to win 55
The Saints have been red hot lately and Cincinnati has been awful. I still think the Bengals keep this one fairly close. When the Bengals are on and Andy Dalton is having a good day they are capable of scoring a lot of points. I think this one will be a shootout and the Saints win but only by 3 or 4 points.
Taking the Bengals +7
Risking 50 to win 40
Shaun Hill will be under center when the Rams take on the Broncos. The problem is Peyton Manning will be the QB for Denver. The one thing I as myself when capping is can a team score everytime they have the ball. It’s a yes for the Broncos. Even though the Rams defense has been pretty good all year I still see Denver winning by two touchdowns.
Manning will score and the Rams won’t be able to keep up.
Taking Denver -9.5
60 to win 52
The Falcons have burned me this year. That being said Cam Newton is hurt and looked terrible Monday Night against the Eagles. If Atlanta gets any kind of pass rush going they could easily fluster him.
Matt Ryan will score a lot of points and I don’t see the Panthers keeping up. The Falcons are only a game out of first in the NFC South and I believe they win by 4-7 points.
Taking Atlanta moneyline
Risking 125 to win 100
The Texans have decided to ditch Ryan Fitzpatrick and give Ryan Mallett a shot. Mallett has been Tom Brady’s backup for the past few years and has never started an NFL game. The big news is Brian Cushing, Jadeveon Clowney, and JJ Watt will all be ready to go against Cleveland. Clowney and Cushing have been hampered by injuries for most of the season.
The Browns beat up on the Bengals last week. Andy Dalton couldn’t get things going with the Cleveland defense and bad weather.
Both teams need a win to keep themselves in the playoff picture. I look for Houston to win outright.
Taking the Texans +3.5
Risking 80 to win 77
LSU started off pretty slow but has come together down the stretch. Arkansas hasn’t won an SEC game in two years but they do play in the SEC West, the toughest division in college football.
Arkansas plays well at home and I think tonight is the night they finally get a conference win. Their running game will be hard to stop and I believe the young LSU QBs will struggle at Arkansas.
Taking Arkansas moneyline
Risking 60 to win 48
The oddsmakers are over-analyzing this one. Florida State is the much better team but for some reason they are only a 1.5 point favorite over a medicore Miami team on the road. Jameis Winston has shown he can overcome adversity on the road and still come out on top.
This one is easy. Florida State wins by 10+
Taking Florida State -1.5
Risking 60 to win 55
On a neutral field Georgia and Auburn would be a coin flip. But with Todd Gurley back at home on a Saturat night the Bulldogs will be a force.
After Auburn stole one last year the Dogs win by 7+.
Taking Georgia -2.5
Risking 55 to win 47
